Bailey has a decade of experience as a political activist and community organizer. Prior to Mothership, she helped whistleblowers in the government, worked on grassroot campaigns across the country mobilizing young people, and was a part of fundraising campaigns that raised over $3.5 million. In DC, she fights to address racism in our legal system and advocates for alternative structures to policing in the District. In her free time, when she’s not arguing about why you should change your residency over to DC if you live here, you’ll find her eating tater tots, boxing, or dancing with her gal pals. Born and raised in Arkansas, she’s a proud alum of the UofA.
